This musical was written bij Robert Long and Dimitri Frenkel Frank. Before the première, they already made a record of all the songs in 1989. Simone Kleinsma (1958) is a Dutch singer, actress and musical star. She played in dozens of musicals since 1977 and had the leading part in for example: Chicago (1999-2001), Mamma Mia! (2003-2005), Sunset Boulevard (2008-2009), Sister Act (2013-2014) and the Dutch musical (with only songs of Wim Sonneveld) Mother, I want to join the revue/Moeder, ik wil bij de revue (2014-2015).
Martine Bijl (1948-2019) was a Dutch singer, writer, actress and tv host. She recorded over 15 records, wrote children's books, translated 4 comedy series for television and translated 14 musicals (for example Aida, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Sister Act and Billy Elliot). Later she became also very beloved as the sharp-minded, witty host of the Dutch version of The Great British Bake Off (Heel Holland bakt, 2013-2015).
