Henk Wijngaard (1946) is a Dutch singer-songwriter. His father was a Canadian soldier and his mother a French woman, who had fled to the Netherlands during the war. He grew up in the province of Groningen.
Wijngaard wrote and sang many truck driver's songs. He worked as a truck driver himself before his singing career.
Henk Wijngaard released over 70 singles and 40 albums. In 2016, after singing for 40 years, he was awarded with the Million Award, for selling over a million records.

His first and biggest hit was above song 'With my truck blazing flames'/'Met de vlam in de pijp' (1978). It was in the National Hit Parade Top 40 for 14 weeks. The song has been voted into the Top 2000 (traditionally broadcasted on the radio the last week of the year) two times.
Other songs of his hand are 'My truck is my house'/'Ik heb 'n truck als m'n woning', 'I was born a driver'/'Als chauffeur ben ik geboren' and 'Hey Suzy'/'Hé Suzie'.
