Conny Vandenbos (1937-2002), stage name of Jacoba Hollestelle, was a Dutch singer. She started her career singing French chansons. In 1966 she had her first hit with the song 'I am happy without you'/'Ik ben gelukkig zonder jou'.
In the seventies she had hits with for example 'Sjakie on the street corner'/'Sjakie van de hoek', 'Three summers long'/'Drie zomers lang', and 'A rose, my dear Rosy'/'Een roosje, m'n Roosje'. She won an Edison Music Award and a Golden Harp for her album Like this I want to live/Zo wil ik leven (1977).
In later years she worked for radio, tv and in the theatre. Her stage name was derived from the last name of her first husband, Van den Bos.
